I am an applied microeconomist specializing in health, the environment, and education. With a decade of experience in finance at leading firms like JP Morgan Chase and Deutsche Bank, I transitioned to academia to deepen my exploration of economic impacts on public policy, social outcomes, and environmental sustainability. My current projects primarily investigate the health effects of environmental factors, the efficacy of education funding mechanisms, and the economic impacts of industry-specific tax policies.
I am also an Assistant Professor of Economics at Palomar College but have also taught at Glendale Community College, Cypress College, Oxnard, and Riversider City College. At the university level, I have taught economics at Florida State University and CSU Fullerton.
I will receive my PhD in Economics at Florida State University in Spring 2025. Prior to Florida State University, I received my BA in Economics/Law & Society at UC Riverside and my MA in Economics at CSU Fullerton.
